About these photos These images show a little of life in Tehran, Shiraz, Esfahan, Semirom and rural areas in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, including the village of Bagh-e Kaj. About the photographer Damon Lynch is from New Zealand. He has an MA in peace studies from the University of Notre Dame, with an emphasis on religion. One of the highlights of his time in Iran was meeting with the former President of Iran, Mohammad Khatami, where they discussed peace, erfan (mysticism), and Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan. Damon maintains a blog, and publishes his photos at pbase and flickr. He is available for photographic and writing projects. It is his dream to one day live and work in Iran. |
